Al Fatehah

Al fatehah to the 6 RMAF Officers that died in the Nuri crash.

I am both sad and angry that it took 5 days to find them and hope the old Nuri will be replaced once for all. Too many Nuri has crashed ... and definitely we need to equip our SAR Teams with better high technology equipment.

Salaam Pak,

Thanks for dropping by to leave a note for Dalilah...

I too am angry, and I find it inexcusable that it took 5 days to find the arwahs.

This is what happens when there are shenanigans perpetrated by the powers-that-be in regards to substandard or inadequately maintained military equipment...

Al-Fatehah to the arwahs.

Al-fatihah.

I cannot understand why we can spend billions on combat warplanes and submarines but will still risk lives on very old utility helicopters.

Salam kembali MS, I am glad that at last common sense prevail and the Cabinet finally agreed that the Nuri will be replaced.

They said it will take few years to get the new Heli, lets pray nothing happen then and they put that emergency becon on all the 20 Nuri that currently in use.

YA, the reason given for not putting the emergency beacon was to avoid the enemy detecting the Heli ???!!! What enemy are they talking about, for God sake.

Even the Container Lorry is currently fitted with GPS beacon that provide the office with its location at all times. It looks like if the new submarine gone missing .... we have no way of finding it.

Al Fatehah. I am speechless. From day one I read the news, I feared the worse. How many more lives do we need to sacrifice before they replace the Nuri?

Thanks for the visit to my blog. Agree totally abt A Samad Said..another one who inspires me all the time.

Kak Teh,

I have bumped into A Samad Said and his wife a few times in shopping malls etc. He looks a bit ragged these days .. a pity since he should be stinking rich if only he can collect royalties for his books which have been standard reading text in our schools for many years.

KT & YA,

For such a great & devoted person A Samad Said definitely deserve more then what was given to him now. Like the late Tan Sri P.Ramlee we will always be late in fully recognizing the gem among us.
