Afternoon wih Raden Galoh

UPDATE SUNDAY 27/7/08

Raden will start her Chemo Therapy on Monday 28/7. Will be away to Jakarta today till Thursday but my prayer will always be with her. To Raden cyber friends keep up the good support and prayers.

Long walk from parking lot @ Hindu Temple

The Clinic where Raden is being treated

Arrival of the Kerp, MuteAudio & Talkonly

As most of us have already knew, one of our dear fellow bloggers Raden Galoh has been admitted to General Hospital Kuala Lumpur since Monday due to the relapse of her breast cancer. From her own words the result of the test was not good at all and she is currently waiting for the insertion of chemoport before proceeding with chemo.

Smiles for Raden : Zabs, JaffPoint, Shah, MuteAudio & Kerp

All ears, listening to Raden progress report

“Since Monday I was warded. The news had struck a bigger impact in me. The cancer is found to have spread to 4 areas: the flesh in between the ribs, the liver, the right jaw node and the left shoulder node. The doctor recommended that I undergo chemo again, this time a heavier dose is suggested. But on Tuesday they found out my veins have badly collapsed, maybe too stressed with the chemo attack done 2005. I need a chemoport inserted under my right chest skin to ease this chemo.I waited for the surgeon last nite. He came this morning but a date can't be fixed. He needs to see the chemoport and check the available date. Again, I need to wait”.

Today we were able to assemble the men forward party to visit Raden Galoh at the GHKL. The team comprised of non other then Kerp, Mat Salo, Shah Talkonly, Zabs, MuteAudio and Jaff Point. The meeting point was GHKL @ 12.30 hrs sharp. The parking at GHKL was rather hopeless with hardly any empty parking space for us. Most of us have to take two to three rounds the hospital before giving up and parked at Hindu Temple 1.5 km away.

Zabs .... he looks like one of the Specialist

But it was worth the time and walk when we saw the smiling face of Raden Galoh at Ward 2A Bed 19. She was still the pillar of strength and so happy to see us. Well there were lots of questions from all the busy body men and she maintained her radiance and shared with us first hands on her progress. We spent about an hour with her before bidding good bye.

It was good to be able to meet her and shared our concerned and prayer for her speedy recovery. It is also a reminder to us to be thankful for the good health blessed upon us.

Raden Galoh ..... we all Love you

Salam DJ,
Terima kasih kerana meng"sms" saya rancangan untuk melawat RG itu.
Sempat membuat sedikit ubahsuai rutin harian untuk ke sana.
She is quite a strong lady.

Salaam Cpt DJ,
Looks like she's up for a fight; and she fights with infectious smile. This one lady is a real 'srikandi'. Perkara sakit ni bukan main-main, but I can't see it on her face.
InsyaAllah, she'll get through the challenge. Let's keep giving her the supports and doa.

She mentioned that you have been giving great support and advice on her case. It was most effective because your medical advice gave her great assurance and understanding.

Pls keep up the great work and support for our dear Raden.

Hi Dato Jaflam,

My first time to your blog. I don't know you, but just wanted to say that was a sweet thing to do for Aunty Dalilah...

And thanks for sharing the pictures for the rest of us who can't visit to see...

We (Aunty Dalilah and me) had made plans to meet up in August in KLIA, but now our plans are all down the drain...

As long as her spirits are up...=)

jaflam said...

Hai Daphne,
Thanks for dropping by, actually we visited Dalilah on behalf of all bloggers friends who could not make it. We managed too cheer her up but realized that she will be facing more challenges ahead.

Latest news the surgeon can only operate her on 11 August to insert the chemoport. Her Doctor has decided thats too late because her liver is not so good, so she will undergo her Chemo this Monday.

We will pray for her strength and recovery. I believed you will be moving to Canada, if you need assistance in Toronto call U Lee a fellow bloggers, great guy. All the best and take care.

Hmm... betol tu bang, Pak Zabs ada gaya macam specialist. Boleh menyamar. I'm sure he's often mistaken for one! Haha.

Sorry for not being able to hang around.

Insya'allah, our beloved Raden will pull through...

Hi Dato Jaflam,

Yes, I will be moving to Canada...Eh, how you know?!?

I have been in the loop regarding Aunty Dalilah's treatment, appointments etc. She has been kind enough to sms me, along with, I'm sure, a lot of people...

As for challenges ahead, anything to do with a human life is, huh?

By the way, you mentioned visiting her "on behalf of all bloggers friends who could not make it"...

Well, thank you!

Alhamdulillah, blogging really has a positive aspect - and this certainly is one of them. Bagi yang jauh dan tak dapat melawat -hanya doa dikirimkan.

Hai Mat Salo,
Good of you to squeeze your tight program to come along to HKL. It made Raden day to see you and wife.

We will catch up again for teh tarik later.

jaflam said...

Hai again Daphne,
You have been in the loop for sometime, although we never talk to each other but I did red some of your comments in the cyber.

Work smart and do well in Canada.
